Motion Blur Photography

When a camera captures an image, that image does’t represent a single instant of time but the scene over a period of time, because of technological constraints or artistic requirements. Motion blur can occur if the objects in the image move or on a static background if the camera is moving.

The photographer can create this effect of motion blur on a photography, by changing the camera’s shutter speed, which determines the time of exposure for that image.

smashingmagazine.com published an article with 45 beautiful examples of motion blur in photography.
